		<description>I think it has its place, but yes the overdone photos are annoying.  In your picture, it&#039;s like the atmosphere has thinned to the point that space has descended!

One place that it seems to work quite well is seascapes, where you expect to have a great deal of range.

Like everything else, moderation!</description>

HDR can be used to create spectacular images... but (just like every other technique), a lot of people over-use it and end up creating images that totally defeat the purpose of the technique (which, i think, is to make the scene look more like what the human eye can see). I think that some of the &quot;trippy&quot; shots have value, but most are too overdone for my taste.

Personally, I prefer good natural light and minimal post-processing to HDR.</description>
