Hey Tony,

You’re right – I managed to climb to the top of Angels Landing when I was in Zion. It was definitely a strenuous hike (I was carrying something like four liters of water, my camera gear, and a tripod with me). Luckily, the weather was warm.

And I’ve heard about the horror stories of falls there and how the trail gets shut down every so often. You’ll have to give it another go sometime in the future .

Tony…thank you for sharing your incredible photography…I take hundreds of pictures there annually, but I love to see another photographer’s patient incredible work…

I too love Zion National Park and was successful in getting invited to do the Subway this past September 15th. If you haven’t done so, you must do it…I would love to see your photography from there…

Just took a look at your photos from Zion – such a beautiful place – great photos. I see you did Angels Landing? We started it but it got closed due to a fatal fall from the top. Tragic

The Narrows is my favorite hike! I have yet to take my DSLR with me as my wife and I tend to go pretty far into the narrows where it gets deeper. In fact, when I was there in August, I slipped and sprained my thumb. Was very glad I didn’t have my camera then!

Next time I will stay longer and do some photography there…

Awesome! I visited Zion about two years ago, and I loved it there as well. I actually prefer Utah parks with Zion being my absolute favorite. Well, Zion is my favorite to hike in anyway… such an amazing area
