Awesome. I am actually hoping it makes it to Mini of Sterling before the 17th mainly because they are closed that day. And the day after is a holiday :( . I am hoping for a Friday or Saturday delivery – that would make my weekend!

I am very excited…

As always at these events, I had a blast. I have a massive soft spot for cars these days… Maybe it’s because I have been watching more and more Top Gear? Anyway, I was able to see some of my favorite cars today, including the Audi R8 (first time seeing it in person), the Nissan GT-R, Mustang GT500 KR, all the classic Mustangs, and so on

New car! Yup, bit of change from my 94 Mustang GT convertible (well, the color is the same?) but I decided I wanted something a little more fun, economical (thanks Al Gore) and just generally different.

I went for; 08 Chili Red / Black roof, MCS (6 speed), black bonnet stripes, sports (17″ Crown Spoke) and premium packages, red rooster interior, piano black surface, JCW Aero Kit and Driving Lamps… Its almost exactly as pictured above me.

The car was bought from Mini of Sterling and should arrive in the US after getting built in Oxford, UK around the end of February, beginning of March. Good stuff!
